Here it is - the week before Spring Break! This year is really flying by! Contracts and summatives make it feel like summer is just around the corner! I don't know about you but that thought stresses me out! I still have so much to do! So, in this time of stress (as I am sure most of you feel stressed as well), let's agree to this one simple rule. Don't touch my chocolate, and I won't touch yours! & Don't tell me how many calories mine has either! haha

No Weekly Tech Challenge
I know this week is already a tough one with THE TEST looming, kids being ready for Spring Break and also losing planning time, so I thought we would take a break from our Technology Challenges. I have to say though that I have enjoyed treating you guys and seeing all the awesome ways you have experimented with using different tech tools with students. So, while there is no official challenge this week, I'd still love to see and hear about how you are using tech! Send me pics! I love tweeting about what GRRREAT teachers we have in our building! Also, if you are on twitter, use our hashtags!

GRANT OPPORTUNITY
You may think I am a hermit for the next couple school weeks. We have an opportunity to apply for a continuation award with our Striving Reader Grant. This opportunity was just presented to us with a very fast approaching deadline. So I am using every available minute to work on writing the proposal for the grant. I know you need time with your students prior to testing (and you have been pulling double duty already), so I am not going to pull anyone from classes to help out. But I may be contacting and working with several of you to get your input. Just wanted to let everyone know since I will not be out and about as much and may be mumbling to myself when I do get out! I'm not crazy (well, not officially), just trying to get some funds for our students and your classrooms!
